KIDA is a start-up auto products brand in Asia. It uses relatively natural material in its products and sells worldwide. To extend its market share in the United States, KIDA asked me to re-brand it as an environment-friendly, natural-care and reliable company, and to redesign the packaging of its leather conditioner and windshield repellent. The redesign is available on Amazon.
Reliable and powerful brand image
First, I refined and simplified the KIDA logotype. I removed its outdated frame effect and balanced the kerning of the logotype. Since KIDA is an auto products brand, I used Futura bold to communicate its reliability and intensity of force. For a visual system of package design, I used a huge "I" to draw the consumer's attention. The "I" was taken from KIDA's logotype. It is like an exclamation mark standing upside down, representing KIDA's high quality.
